Hey, I don't know if you remember me! I mean, a lot of chaos happened. But would you wanna try out some of those recipes soon? I've been working on my menu. Made up a lotta cute little pun names to theme it, too. Heh....
[It's a little while before Vierna answers. Maybe she just checked her messages now? Maybe she needed a bit to process that oh yeah, she kinda sorta agreed to taste-test a near-stranger's cooking a while back, and communal meals during their time in Hisui aside, that's still a bit nerve-wracking for someone who grew up in a city where poisoning is a popular pastime. Who knows. She's certainly not telling.]
I would be amenable. When and where should we meet? I have been residing mostly in Goldenrod City and I'm afraid I have not ventured much further than that, but I have access to the pokecenter teleports for the cities between Goldenrod and New Bark.
Oh I should show you, look what I found a couple weeks ago:
[a moment later, a (only slightly blurry) photo of a shiny Honedge. It's hovering over the kitchen counter of Vierna and Cordy's apartment, threat displaying at the Tinkatuff just visible at the bottom edge of the photo. Vierna maybe your first response to your steel types fighting shouldn't be to grab your 'gear and snap a photo.]
Oh! Your magic creatures are quite endearing! That sword creature, the honedge, that is a variant color, isn't it?
I have not found any variant colors lately, but I did find a rather surprising feather on the ground—and Kimmuriel found an unused training machine disc.
He is, according to the literature they're usually silver and blue.
It's odd - I've never seen a wild one in the city. He was lurking around the Pokécenter, but I couldn't find anyone he belonged to and he let me coax him into a ball? So I'm keeping him.
Perhaps the previous holder of his ball perished unexpectedly and he went looking for a new partner? Morbid, I know, but it does seem a likely reason a creature so splendid would remain unpartnered.
Not, ah, that my mother bothered to tell me, though she did have me raised in the shadow of the house. She went to her grave thinking I was ignorant of my birth. No, what happened was that my wet nurse--the one who raised me--was poisoned and I prayed to Lolth asking why.
She showed me by giving me back the memory of my first day of life.
Though before all that, I... suspected I might have Baenre blood in me. I just thought I might have been got upon a house commoner by the elderboy or one of my mother's brothers. I have a bit of the family look, for anyone who cares to see.

Anyway, let me know.

[He doesn't even consider that she might be scared of something like that. If he knew, though, he'd try to account for ways to reassure her.]
Thanks for the help! I'll let you know when I'm in the area.

Please do. I may travel to one of the nearby towns for a gym challenge soon and I would hate to miss you and waste your time.

Re: Text
I am going to assume that Kimmuriel has told you to bother someone else for a change.

In his defense, his gift fish is teething.

May I ask you something?
Re: Text
Of course you may.
Re: Text
we are now entering headcanon town

I love headcanon town
so do I

Or did.
I'm still not certain how to speak about, well. Things that are different between my time and yours.
